The Kage Partnership Fundraising Salary Report

Every year we produce a survey of fundraising salaries based on vacancies in the London area. If you would like a copy of the 2013 report please email info@kagep.com

The 2013 survey is based on fundraising vacancy details from over 120 charities.

Headlines
Overall, salary levels remain static

Where salary increases occur, they tend to be small (2%)

Exceptions to this include manager level in corporate and direct marketing categories showing 7% and 4% increases respectively. On the corporate manager side, this could be due to one or two larger charities advertising very senior posts.

Largest decreases (between 5% and 6%) shown in Fundraising Administrator, Community/Regional Manager and Senior categories

General Trends
People tending to stay in jobs longer than pre 2009

Still very few junior roles due to prevalence of internships

Largest number of jobs in corporate fundraising – almost double that of nearest category

Although overall 8% increase in the number of jobs, there was a marked decrease in the number of jobs during the summer – Olympic affect?
